Advantages of using electric vehicles which are battery operated

India is the second largest country in population & has millions of automobiles on its roads & the number is growing day by day as more credit facilities are available these days .Anybody can purchase a two wheeler if he has a ration card & the ability to pay the EMI ,which falls below Rs 2000 .


It is estimated that India’s fossil fuel dependency on other countries currently from 70% to 82% in 2012. If we can have three lakh Electric Vehicles on the roads by 2020, including three-wheelers, cars, and scooters, this could result in a reduction of over 16 lakh metric tons of CO, NOx and HC by 2020, savings of over Rs 3,700 crore in foreign exchange and significant health costs savings”.

2. Per Km running cost reduces ,around 10 Ps per Km
   
3. Indias economy will improve as it can save the oil import money
4. Living cost will reduce
   
5. No need of Driving License or registration if the speed of EV (Electric Vehicles is below 25 km/hr)
